Scantailor Spectre: Page Box step before Content Box step

Didn't see a way to comment or discuss the downstream Scantailor Spectre (Scantailor Advanced, but for Mac Silicon), so I'm posting it here and tagging @kvarnelis . Hope that's ok. If not, and you have suggestions about how to post my comment in the correct place, please let me know!

It would be helpful if the Page Box and Content Box were broken out into two separate processing steps. First, establish the page sizes (and cropping), with page box width and height sorting to resolve edge cases. After that's done, then the Content Box will be more efficient and focused. Currently, the user can only sort by content box width and height, not be page box width and height, and it is very difficult and time-consuming for the human eye to see pages that have correct content box bounds, but do not yet have correct page box bounds.

Hi, I enabled discussions on the fork (https://github.com/abandoned-industries/scantailor-spectre/discussions) so you can continue this there. That has always bugged me, too, but it's a lot of work to split a stage. Still, let me see what we can do.
