[Feature - Missing Documentation] document "GitHub mode" for autoupdate.hash #6705

Description

@ShadowCreator250

Is documentation a feature or a bug? (Maybe a dedicated issue template would be helpful.)

Feature Request

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

While writing a new manifest of a GitHub-based app, I was reading the Scoop documentation, looking at existing manifests and browsing related issues.

The documentation mentions that scoop can automatically detect new version of GitHub-based app. (here).

I stumbled across this PR: #6416 that implements automatic hash updating (what autoupdate.hash would do).
But I could not find a mention of this feature ("GitHub mode") anywhere in the docs.
The PR creator also documents that they cannot update the documentation to reflect the new functionality because they have insufficient permissions.
This comment also noticed the lack of documentation.

Describe the solution you'd like

Anyone who has sufficient permissions to do so: please update the documentation, so other manifest writers don't try to write GitHub hash update logic by hand.

Also; please establish a process so that every feature contribution gets documented. The PR checkbox is there for a reason, please grant it the respect it deserves.

Describe alternatives you've considered

None.
