I was able to reproduce the results of "Ultra-low Power State" application using System Off. However, I was only able to get it to work by upgrading to the latest nrf54l15 board from the zephyr repo. With the board from the "download the library" I saw 250uA to 476uA depending how I supplied power. To work, 4V needed to be applied to the 5V pin. Here was my setup:
nrf connect for vscode 3.1.0
board file from the zephyr tree, installed the same way as described in the tutorial
4V applied to the 5V pin

Could you please tell me the specific steps for upgrading? I'm trying this in a VSCode + PlatformIO environment.

I just cloned the latest seeed board dir from the zephyr site, and then set the board dir in nrf connect as described somewhere in the tutorial. However, I wouldn't recommend doing this unless your OK risking your board. I noticed after my post that some of the settings for the radio didn't look right. I would first try what bleaaach recommends.

The “zephyr-lowpower” sample does not reduce current when calling sys_poweroff() because onboard devices are powered by default. Adding the following code reduces current to the intended sleep current of approximately 2μA.

@msfujino : Thx for the tips, I only get the 2.50uA power consumption with your trick. Somehow, recommended app.overlay and prj.conf didn't work for me. But I'm glad I got it working ! sub 3uA is rock solid for coin cell powered project !!

I tried to apply 3.3V at the 3.3V pin of the board, but the consumption was so high (~460uA). However, applying at least 3.4V on the 5V pin the current drop around 3uA. I know is not the best way to try to appply a 3.3V source, just only that it works for the Xiao nrf52840 board.

Somebody made a poor choice in adding that cheap FM8625H switch. That is destroying all the hard work put by nRF in making this an ultralow power device. 100 uA supply current for the switch when you can get the cpu down to 10 - 20 uA on active standby !!!!! I wish i could rip it off the board.
