I wish I had the skill. I am attempting to learn because my area is currently lacking a mesh and I'd like an automated reply system that's useful.
It would be a significant help to people who get into meshtastic and then are "burnt out" or let down due to the lack of users in their area like myself.

Hi there, so I just got my Wio Tracker L1 Pro and had turned it on and was able to connect it to my Meshtastic app right away, and then it asked me to set the LoRa region, and I am currently in Mexico and since a place in Central or South America wasn't on the list, I chose the 2.4 Hz option, and then the device turned off and looked like it rebooting but it is now stuck, where it just shows the logo with meshtastic.org along with the LORA_24 and firmware info 2.6.10. And it keeps beeping. I've turned it off, connected it to my computer, and tried to connect it to my phone again but now it won't appear as a device. But the node was registered at some point. How can I fix this issue? Or is it a hardware/software issue? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked your computer to see if it's still connected to the Bluetooth on the computer?

It was never connected to my computer's bluetooth, only my phone's bluetooth. So I'm very confused about why it just keeps beeping. The only way I get it to stop beeping is by turning it off or clicking the rst button twice, then it doesn't beep. Is there a way to reset the radio without bluetooth?

Is there tutorial how to connect to Wio Tracker L1 from Meshtastic App but using serial interface? I see serial port but connection to it fails both from webclient, Android Meshtastic APP and MeshSense.

I can connect to all other type of modules with no issues, so I guess maybe there is some special procedure to activate serial connection with L1?

I have Wio Tracker L1 Pro and it works fine with new UI on alpha version of firmware. With announced plans of UI improvements on messaging and joystick navigation that would make L1 Pro quite a good device in near future.

However, OLED display is small and I thought of getting eInk version of L1 as it is bigger and more easy to read. But I heard talks from other people, that eInk display is not supported on the same level as OLED, manly, custom messaging does not work and joystick and Menu navigation also do not work. There are talks that Meshtastic firmware developer do not plan to work on support for eInk displays and joystick. That is strange.

Is that true?

If true that means getting eInk version makes no sense - wasting money on something that will not work as expected.

What is Seed Studio stance on this?

At this time, the Ink HUD version does not support joystick control. Our team plans to include this feature in a future firmware update.
