Thanks for this nice open-source application.
I could install everything and it is working.
I received meanwhile the SenseCap M2 gateway, T1000-A trackers and some BLE beacons in order to set up some proof-of-concepts at different customer locations.
A few questions:

1. Can I also change the admin password of the web interface? I don't find that master password.
2. Is this application also working with other branded BLE beacons which are already present at the customers location?

Thanks for your kind words and for trying out this open-source application! I’m glad to hear everything is working well on your side.

A1:
You can reset the admin password of the SenseCAP M2 gateway through its web interface or by using the SenseCAP Hotspot App.
If you’ve forgotten the master password, you can also perform a factory reset — this will restore the default credentials, and you can then set a new one after logging in again.

A2:
This solution combines both software and hardware.
The software part can indeed use BLE beacon data collected by the T1000-E Tracker. The tracker supports standard iBeacon and Eddystone formats, so it should also work with other branded BLE beacons that follow these protocols and broadcast compatible advertisement frames.

Hi, Thanks for your feedback.
Regarding the question for the admin password, I was referring to the positioning software installed via the docker files whereafter you can access the dashboard by opening a web browser and going to http://<your_server_ip>:5173.
But then, you only can login as Guest.
I tried to login as admin, but these credentials are not provided.

You can access the dashboard locally via http://127.0.0.1:5173 after launching.
The default demo credentials are:
Username: admin
Password: 83EtWJUbGrPnQjdCqyKq

This will allow you to edit the map as an admin instead of a guest.

I can edit now quit some parameters, but I don't see an option to import a new map picture. Should that be done by composting a JSON file and then upload that JSON file? Can you guide me how to do? Thanks!

yes, currently the demo is still using json file. And the wiki is updated, hope it works.

Only when you open now the application, everything is empty and by that there is also no "Create" button to add a first map.
It would be nice if the "Create" button is always visible so you can start with importing a json map. Now you need to edit the files in the config folder itself which is not wanted for a standard user without that folder knowledge.
It would also be interesting if you still can see sample data when first opening the app, which is not the case anymore now.
Can you improve these if it makes sense?

Is it already possible to show the "Create" button to add a map also in case the map list is empty? This is now not the case and thus impossible to start setup process of new maps.
