After closing the Steam client, plwm no longer responds. htop says it's in state 'S' which stands for "sleeping or waiting (Interruptible Sleep)". It can't even be directly killed with a SIGTERM.
This issue did not exist with Steam up until a few weeks ago and there was no change in plwm, so I assume the Steam client changed in some way. It's at version 1.0.0.85_1. Or possibly xorg, the xorg-server package got updated to version 21.1.21_1 on my machine about two weeks ago.
No matter what introduced this bug, plwm must handle gracefully whatever's happening.
