Prevent sidebar from closing

Is there any way to prevent a sidebar from closing? (ie, when the user didn't saved his work yet etc)

I was looking at the Sidebar events and it seems to me that the best place would be in the onChange event, but it doesn't receive any parameters to prevent the closing process.

Any ideas? Thank you.

Seems like there is no default way to do this, so I make PR with possible fix.
