Compatibility with wordpress and chrome (slimming paint)

I believe this is an issue of google chrome but... still post it here anyway.
I use sidebar on my wordpress page, load it on chrome, and apparently all the other fixed elements (Including a

with background-attachment: fixed) are broken. They are drawn out of place.
I tried to load the page on firefox/edge and found no issue. Then I went back to chrome and tried enabling "slimming paint phase 2". This somehow fixes the bug.
