Rendering unusual native resolutions (non 640x480) #140

The current renderer always renders at 640x480, but the DC natively supports other output resolutions.

Some example of 320x240 games:

  • The King Of Fighters: Dream Match 1999
  • The King of Fighters 99 Evolution
  • Last Blade 2 (Bakumatsu Roman Daini Maku - Gekka no Kenshi)

A bunch of 640x480 games (mostly 2D fighting games) exhibit some issues with upscaling: Rounding pixel coordinates after upscaling leads to gaps between sprites. I think this will be difficult to fix without game specific hacks.

I suspect the visual artifacts of previously mentioned 320x240 games have a similar origin, but in this case rendering at the expected resolution should get rid of it - it's just not currently possible.
