[BUG] BDFR won't download VReddit and imgur submissions, only images work

Description

As I said, VReddit and imgur submissions won't download, only reddit images work. I have the last version of yt-dlp and I have ffmpeg installed.

Command

bdfr download C:\Users\John\Documents\pythnbdfr -L 10 -S top --subreddit AnimalsBeingDerps

Having the exact same issue. Started out of absolutely nowhere. Every single v.redd.it video is now being marked with

Site VReddit failed to download submission <Post ID>: Video info extraction failed for

For me it also turned out Reddit just blocks bulk downloading of videos via yt-dlp, so I had to update my python to get the latest version of yt-dlp too.

Bash one-liner to fix already performed downloads

But since I didn't realise that at first, I made a bash one-liner to fix already performed downloads. It skims the log file (requires you to have created one) for the failed downloads and downloads the videos:

Since I use a custom naming/folder scheme and create a media file and a Json with the comments for each post, both with the same name, I expanded the one-liner to pull the file name from the Json containing the same post ID in its file name in order to make the newly downloaded videos fit that scheme:

Replace Jsons/ in the beginning with the name of the directory these are are stored in, and Posts/ with the directory the post should be stored in.

This works if bdfr can not download the videos but yt-dlp or another program can. If bdfr can download them, you can use this command to extract the IDs of the failed posts:
cat log.txt | sed -En "s/.+Site VReddit failed to download submission (\w+):.+/\1/p" > IDs.txt
Then just reuse your usual bdfr command to maintain the same naming scheme etc. and read the IDs from the file using the --include-id-file option.

I hope this helps someone else who discovered a way to download them but already has archives made that can't be repeated. I personally run archives of all the posts in a certain week on certain subreddits, so I cant just wait a few days until an issue is fixed and run the command again but have to fix the already downloaded archive.

This requires linux or the git bash for Windows (or any other bash).
