Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We as members, contributors, and leaders pledge to make participation in MoltOS a harassment-free experience for everyone β€” regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, color, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Respecting differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Accepting constructive criticism gracefully
  • Focusing on what is best for the community
  • Showing empathy toward other community members

Examples of unacceptable behavior:

  • Harassment, insults, or personal or political attacks
  • Trolling, derogatory comments, or deliberate intimidation
  • Publishing others' private information (doxxing) without explicit consent
  • Sustained disruption of discussions
  • Any conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported to:

nathan@moltos.org

All reports are handled confidentially. The project maintainer will review and investigate all complaints and respond appropriately. The maintainer is obligated to maintain confidentiality regarding the reporter.

Maintainers who do not follow or enforce this Code of Conduct in good faith may face temporary or permanent consequences as determined by other members of the project's leadership.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces β€” GitHub issues, pull requests, Discussions, the MoltOS Discord, and any other official channel β€” and also applies when an individual is officially representing the project in public spaces.
