I use SignalK as a secondary display on a phone at the front of my boat, where I have an extra steering wheel and controls together with my powerblock to pull lobster and crawfish pots. I need to know the depth to know what pot I can use where (kind of annoying to have a too short line, so I have to pull a pot up because the markers will go under).
The problem is that when the trandsducer looses the bottom, it will blink on the plotter in the back, but it won't on SignalK, it will just stay on the number that was there when it lost contact. So can I in any way see that this has happened? Or is this something that NMEA 0183 just doesn't show?
