Currently it's not clear on whether ENABLE_AUTH will be deprecated or not. And we are in the state where an auth is disabled by default, but the user experience for non-logged user is broken.

  • With auth, You can still click protected pages with error, even if logged out.
  • Without auth, you can still log in, and you got a broken page.
  • Menu in navbar also can't be hidden because of this.
