It looks like you're using a custom resource pack for Slimefun. Based on my testing with what appears to be the same pack, the key difference is that the CustomModelData NBT tag is applied to the Reinforced Spawner, as defined in the item-models.yml configuration file. In contrast, the standard Reinforced Spawner lacks this NBT tag.

If you enable advanced item tooltips with F3 + G and hover over the items in your inventory, you'll notice that custom model reinforced spawners have four NBT tags, whereas the default versions have only three.

At first glance, this shouldn’t inherently cause problems, which suggests what we're experiencing is likely a limitation within the way Slimefun handles how it currently reads the custom items. It appears that the 1.21 version of Slimefun might have this kind of issue resolved.

For the meantime, in item-models.yml you could change REINFORCED_SPAWNER: 2200291 to REINFORCED_SPAWNER: 0.
