Could you add a new "Torn edge" option to the Output options, as it is for example in Greenshot?
It's adding a jagged/torn/rough edge around the screenshot when pasting it into a mail, making it easy for people to understand that it is just a piece of an overall larger image.
It's especially beneficial when the background of the screenshot is the same white color as the mail or the page in which the screenshot is pasted.
