after updating to ios 26, i get this "instagram is no longer available" alert.
in devise management settings i dont have any prompts to allow this app.

have they started blocking sideliaded apps now?

I am personally using Instagram on iOS 26 without any issues.

It looks like the provisioning/config profile was removed (perhaps automatically during the update)? Reinstalling the profile should result in Instagram working as usual :)

I'm getting this exact "instagram is no longer available" error.
i built SCInsta locally using com.burbn.instagram.ipa and then used sideloadly to install on iOS 18.6.2. The app works fine for about a week and then this error happens. It's the third time it happens. I'm thinking I might have done something wrong during the sideloading step. Any clues? (absolutely loving it BTW, want to fix this so I never have to use the stock app again ❤️ )

This message is shown when a side loaded app has its provisioning profile expire. With a free Apple developer account, it creates profiles with a max of 7 days.

With a paid developer account, it's changed to a max of 365 days.

Your other option is to buy a signing certificate from a 3rd party site, but I can't personally vouch for any of them as I don't use them (and they're technically breaking Apple's developer TOS).

I definitely agree it's a fair amount. However it comes with a fair amount of other stuff that could make it worth it for you.

• You get 365 day provisioning profiles to deploy apps on up to 100 devices
• You can create custom cards for the wallet app
• You get access to free weather data through WeatherKit
• You get the ability to use "Sign in with Apple" if you're a web developer
• And of course you get to distribute apps on the App Store
