Problems with custom Azure credentials

When setting up custom Azure credentials, any time I try to log in using the CLI (npx @softeria/ms-365-mcp-server --login) I get nothing returned to the console and it doesn't give me the link and device code. It does work if I use the built-in Azure app. I have the .env file set up per the instructions. Any ideas?

There should be logs, I'm not 100% sure how to find them, but you could try running it "locally", like this:

npm init -y
npm i @softeria/ms-365-mcp-server
./node_modules/.bin/ms-365-mcp-server --login

Then logs should end up here:

node_modules/@softeria/ms-365-mcp-server/logs/

But npx ... doesn't work? What about npx @softeria/ms-365-mcp-server@latest --login (add @latest to trigger npx to get last version)

That worked! I notice that the only way I can force it to use my custom client ID and secret is to launch the server from the same directory as the .env file. Is there any way to define this on the command line and/or use the customer client ID / secret in Claude desktop? Thanks for all your help

Can't you set the env vars inside claude desktop now? I currently don't even have it installed as I basically only use claude code.
But - if you want, I can add the things as arguments. We got a lot of options as both arguments to the CLI and as ENV vars, and these two things could be as well - it's a bit sketchy since the secret should be a secret, which is why it hasn't been done yet (it's a bit bad since then the secret can become more visible in places it should not be visible).

I think having the option to set those arguments could be useful. I haven't tried setting the env vars in claude desktop yet since I've been using code, but I will give that a shot
