Bioconda Distribution

I really appreciate your work on somadataio. I’d like to use it in a Conda environment and was wondering if you'd consider supporting distribution via Bioconda.

Thank you for filing this issue! We don't currently have plans to distribute SomaDataIO via Bioconda, but would certainly consider it if there's enough demand.

I quickly looked into contributing recipes to Bioconda, and it appears that CRAN R packages without Bioconductor dependencies are not accepted to Bioconda, but should instead go to Conda-Forge. SomaDataIO would fall into that bucket - it's a CRAN package, but does not have any Bioconductor dependencies. Would adding SomaDataIO to Conda-Forge suit your needs, or are you interested in Bioconda specifically?
