MCP is built for simple tools. ELF is an emergent learning framework with persistent state, multi-agent coordination, and complex memory graphs. Direct installation gives you full control, zero latency, and doesn't waste context on protocol overhead. If you want MCP integration later, you can build a thin wrapper - but the core stays direct. |

Because of how Serena works as an MCP, I wonder if ELF can drop the install files, and be turned into an MCP that spins up either per-project OR across the whole system https://github.com/Spacehunterz/Emergent-Learning-Framework_ELF?tab=readme-ov-file#install
