Chromatik crashing nuke randomly

We just had a problem with the chromatiq node that caused nuke to crash randomly.
Quite rare crashes on a workstation, but much more of an issue on our linux deadline renderfarm.
Nuke 12.1, 12.2. Centos 7.

I have heard other feedback of people having issues with chromatik on nuke 12.
I haven't used nuke 12 much yet, but will try to look into it, maybe over the Christmas break.
