Slider like Lamborghini has

I'm trying to recreate this slider on the Lamborghini site but I'm failing...

Can anyone help here?
It is primarily about the transition effect.

I have 3 slides. Each slide is 25vw wide except for the ".is-active". He has 50vw. That fits so far, but as soon as I add a transition, it no longer fits.
