Disable page move

Is there a way to disable the page move when the slide gets changed? Essentially I want to manually set the page on an action and ignore a potential page shift when a slide is selected.

How about using speed: 0? That makes your carousel change immediately without transition.

Not what I'm looking for. I want to be disable the page move when a new slide becomes active. Splide does this automatically and I've been digging into the api and haven't found a way to disable this in Splide. The translate css property that gets applied in splide__list is what I want to prevent from changing.

Then you can disable the property by translate: none !important

I'm arriving late, but just a note for someone who finds this later. Assuming you're using this non-moving carousel as a navigation carousel attached to a main one, you'd need to use transform: none !important (not translate:none) on [navigation carousel parent class] .splide__list.

But it seems this disables the switching of the is-active class, so you'll need to handle that separately I think.
