+**About**: With this in-person training, participants will not only gain first-hand experience running a basic bioinformatics pipeline but will also be able to understand what each step of the process is doing and why it is important with educational presentations and facilitated discussions incorporated throughout.

+**Target Audience**: This training is intended for *beginner-level* bioinformaticians or sequencing/laboratory personnel and genomic epidemiologists that are interested in bioinformatics cross-training.
