tis exactly as it sounds. Sunflares are not overriden, something i noticed when approaching the Korman System, both stars had bright white gleams from stock scatterer despite both being brown dwarves. issue persists in both my main heavily modded game and my lightweight build (shown below) that I use to test homebrewed configs.
