In my experience, it has not been a problem to upload a large file via the desktop sync client (Arch Linux). I do this routinely, and just tested with a 6GB file to verify. That said, there will be a configurable WebDAV Max Upload Size setting in the upcoming release, which will go for final Beta testing once this PR is reviewed/merged. This may solve your problem.

Can you provide more details about your setup? OS and version, networking setup (such as VPN, firewall), etc

local network, startos is on proxmox, debian12. I ended up just compressing all of the video files so they would be around 1gb as a work around, but i can upload another 5gb file to show it doesn't work if you'd like

On the latest update, there is a config option to raise the max upload size - can you please give this a test?
