Import bootstrap js components

Looking to compile in the required bootstrap js components into the scripts but not having luck. I want ScrollSpy (only component I intend to use)

import {ScrollSpy} from 'bootstrap' // probably in script.js

remove from index.pug
script(src='https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/bootstrap@5.1.1/dist/js/bootstrap.bundle.min.js')

Got any suggestions on how that can be done? Do I need to replace fs in render-scripts? Any advice appreciated.
