Text 24 hours a day

It would be really cool to be able to text at any time of day or night if Spoke could be relied on to hold onto the texts until texting hours in the target district.

I might not understand your question, @lperson. Replies would be no different than they are currently. This is way low on my priority list though.

@suegibson It's an intriguing thing to build. What I meant by my question is let's say someone stays up late and sends 10,000 texts, which get sent at 10am the next morning. Some people will reply to those texts the next day. Who would handle the responses? Would you reassign the contacts?

@suegibson Did you tell us somewhere what your top priority issues are? Maybe I missed it.

Side note: this would be a lot easier to implement if we implemented an out-of-the-box worker/scheduling system like Kue [#526, e.g.]. Many such schedulers support this kind of delaying functionality natively.

There’s been no resolution. We do have global volunteers, so it would be nice to have the ability.
