HA solarman - Default/auto inverter definition file

Hello,

I successfully connected HA to the solarman dongle connected to my DEYE inverted.
So far so good, I'm able to catch 200 entities.
I noticed my HA is running slow and I believe it is related with the amount of data being polled from the solarman dongle.

I want to change the update_interval to 10 or 15 seconds.
From what I saw, the deye_hybrid.yaml is the default definition file, nevertheless if I select that instead of Auto, my dashboards and entities become all messed up.

Do you know what is really the default inverter definition file? the only chance to change the update_interval is to copy one of the definition files and change that parameter? Or is there a better option?

Hi @CerealPT, I believe you are writing in the wrong repository as you are describing behaviors from ha-solarman

Integration is not pulling all the data every time, there is a schedule and only power values are pulled every time and it's made in such a way it fits into single request.

This doesn't make much sense because in my integration the default is auto (which selects deye_hybrid.yaml for you) and auto-detection is forced for Deye devices regardless. Maybe they are wrong because you migrated from this integration as mine uses slightly different (standardized) entity naming. I suggest you to adapt as it will bring many benefits like providing inverter power and energy losses, full configuration through entities, etc. However, you can still choose a custom profile which you need to put in the inverter_definitions/custom/ subfolder, which will be preserved even during updates.

What hardware is this? Because I really don't think integration would slow it down. :)
