Another version of the URL with a different top domain https://pornhoarder.tv is on the block list.

Would it be technically possible to block all variants of websites included on the list, regardless of top-level domain? I noticed that many sketchy websites evade blocking by simply changing the top-level domain

Unfortunately hosts files are relatively ancient structures, dating back to the earliest days of the internert. Hosts files are everywhere, including all computers, phones, IOT devices, everything, but they don't support wildcards. And they never will.
