Editor needs a LOT of work

I know it says the editor function is an experimental feature, but this is the main reason we want to use it...but it needs a MASSIVE amount of work. It messes up the fonts...puts random spaces in between words, it drops paragraphs on top of each other, and you can't scroll the whole document - you have to click on each page at the top (?) On a 300+ page book, this is impossible. The UI is horrible.

Thanks for your efforts, but please can development be looked at here? Editing pdfs is the whole, singular reason we wanted to use this software. We REALLY want to get off adobe products!

For fonts that are messed up can you please look in bottom right section where it displays font info and paste all that here for anything that doesn't show as good

But yes we are working in it! As you mention it's not even beta but an alpha release as a concept to build on. We will get this improved! This is a top priority for us

Hi, here are some screenshots:

I tried editing some userguides and whenever I try save , I get this error pop up:
jakarta.servlet.ServletException: Request processing failed: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No cached document found for jobId: admin:a2836235-30f3-4e61-9f85-5eb7937dfdbe

It also appears when I'm trying to edit text.
It seems to be able to edit, but it's all jumbled up and impossible to see what you are doing when the words and sentences are sat on top of each other.

[image: image.png] hi, I updated it on truenas to version 2.1.5 and it's still giving me errors when I try and save any edits - also see the fonts are still writing over each other. The green and blue buttons are just spinning round.
