Crashes when typing values without previously saving custom keyboard shortcuts

In a new install, when we try to type in a value in any of the preferences numeric fields -e.g. screen height or width-, Subtivals crashes. The problem magically disappears once you have saved custom keyboard shortcuts, even if these remain the same as the default ones. It took us a while and some nerves to figure this out, so it would be cool to spare both to anyone with the same issue :)
