Description

Affected: Ubuntu 25.10 and 24.04 on wayland

When starting appImage version of subtivals, it crashes on 24.04 and 25.10 with wayland. In terminal I see the error regarding missing plugin wayland. As fas as I understand qt is bundled in your appImage. But I may be wrong. My own qt has wayland plugin installed. Below the errors:

Warning: Ignoring XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland on Gnome. Use QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland to run on Wayland anyway.
