Not able to send telemetry events in form of json to edata->props

I am not able to send the telemetry events  captured, in the form of json  to edata->props, as the props variable is arraylist. Also i am not able to send custom key-value pairs to edata. Whereas, i am able to send all those events to edata variable using sunbird JS library.
Please provide me the resolution using java library
