Can I use RokectPants with rails-api gem?

Is it ok to use RokectPants with the project generated by rails-api new?
I also wonder even if I can use it with rails-api, it might not be a good idea needs a lot of tweaks.

Honestly, I've not used them much together - most of rocket pants exists prior to the introduction of the rails-api stuff / isn't quite the same (it includes similar functionality), so I'm not quite sure how well it will play together.
