Pressing the home button resets ROM state, resulting in lost progress

If I press "back" twice to quit Lemuroid, when I restart the ROM, I'm back where I was. That's good.

However, if I press "home", when I restart the ROM I've lost any progress I've made, including state and save games. That's very frustrating! :(
