Async Support?

I really like the idea here and the direction, and I think this has a lot of promise! I did a review of what upgrading my codebase from peakrdl-python to peakrdl-pyral would look like, and I'm seeing a gap in Async support for the CallbackHWIO signatures, any my cocotb test infrastructure is all using async. Is this something you've considered adding support for?

Definitely!
I intentionally held off on implementing async variants since I wanted to better understand where I should implement them.

I assume all the RAL-layer methods ought to have async variants for users to be able to call from async processes.
I wonder though - would the HWIO layer need asyncs as well? Or would it be enough to keep those as non-async blocking methods?
