What if I forgot my account password

Need to log in to the web but forgot the account password, how to reset?

If you don't have too much stuff saved, try rm on the ~/.tabby/ee directory. That's what I did and I'm not sure if there's a better way.

So I hit this issue as well and found these steps to be helpful:

1. Open the db.sqlite file in your favorite SQLite client (under the .tabby/ee folder
2. In the password_reset table, create an entry, put anything in the code column but keep it handy for later. user_id is the id of your user, can be found in the users table
3. go to <url>/auth/reset-password?code=YOUR_CODE (<url> is http://localhost:8080 by default in most cases)
4. reset your password

and that's it! Hope it helps someone else who may need it

Thanks that worked. Just want to expand on the insert statement you could use. I would run it once you're 100% certain there's nothing of value in password_reset. I would run this manually.
