[Bug]: highlighted items when in a newly searched window does not function correctly

Description

The newest releases (mainly 9.5.5+?) have a bug where the item selected when doing an other search is unselected in the process how ever still displays like its selected and you can attempt to edit the phantom copy and it doesn't work.

(this bug may cause other issues like adding tags just randomly in the library file but i dont have any evidence for this occurring it just might occur as nothing is being selected, if theres so safeguards)

Expected Behavior

What it should do is remain selected like in old versions, and if it is unselected for whatever reason it shouldn't pretend like its still selected

(or if the new thing searched doesn't contain the entry at all it should remain selected and editable like in old versions even if its not in the new search)

Steps to Reproduce

1. select an entry with tags
2. click one of the tags and search it
3. your done the issue has now shown it self

(actually the bug may have been introduced with the infinite scrolling update, which i dunno witch version but it may be that, is the source of the bug)
