Possible to hide the video "sidebar/panel" when windowed 2/3rds?

Is it possible to provide an option to move the alternative video suggestion down to under the video from the side like when the window size is only 1/2 of the screen horizontally?

Additional information

When the Newpipe window is 1/2 the screen size horizontally, the video frame is usually bigger than when it is 2/3rds of the screen.
And when you have it cover for 2/3rds the alternative videos on the side can't be disabled, at least I yet didn't discover an option.
Usually I totally like having the videos in view but maybe that can be arranged to have option since the option seems to already be implemented in the code (first image, middle button, bottom bar/row in the Newpipe App) it just misses a toggle for the settings for a windowed 2/3rds state?
It's such a niche case that I didn't want to open an "issue"/feature request.
