Describe the feature you want

I think it'd be nice to have an option to save the watch history of videos in a chronological order, meaning saving all instances of viewing a particular video instead of putting all views of a video in one and moving that log to the top with an increased view count.

Right now if you watch a video on 12 December, and then watch it again on 24 December, then if you look at the history tab, you will see that video at the top (if it's the most recently watched video) and the time stamp has the date for 24 December and an increased number of views by you. And if you scroll down, you won't be able to find your original view of the video from 12 December.

I think it'd be a good feature to have an option for saving all individual views of any particular video.

A way of implementing this, which I think is not as good for me, would be to add an option after long tapping a watched
video which would show all past views of the video. Not sure if this data is deleted at present and if only the view count is saved. I think both should be toggleable options in case of storage or overcrowding issues.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe it

I want to be able to see when I saw a particular video for the first time or any time after that, instead of just when I watched it last, but there is no way to do that.

Additional context

The YouTube app on Android, or at least an older version than the latest has that. It has a date and then watched videos on that day below it. I think that also could be a good way to implement the feature.

How will you/everyone benefit from this feature?

If you watch a video that has profound effects on you, then you might want to see when you originally came across that video and what other videos you watched after or before that. It might help relive that time and improve the nostalgic effect.

If the history search feature #2977 is added then this would also be pretty important I think.
