Has anyone used Technitium as a DNS over TLS server (DoT) server in conjunction with the Android "Private DNS" feature?

I used this kind of setup for about an year.
Not currently using it anymore, for reasons unrelated to the functionality itself.
Despite facing a slightly higher latency on resolution (which caching mitigates quite well) versus what I got from Google/Quad9/etc, for me it was very usable (your mileage may vary, as usual).

I have no idea about some guide available out there.

I did some experimentation (I had already been using Technitium for well over an year when I decided to give this a spin) and only one caveat did not allow me do get it fully functional sooner than later: the usage of self-signed certificates; it does not work with those (at least, it did not with my android devices, they despised a self cert utterly and completely). I bought a domain and voilà.
