What exactly should it be? becouse its clearly stated that its not changeable afterwards.
a new domain? thisisanewdomain.tld?
a already used domain? maindomain.tld
ore more like a dns01.tld that is just there for naming and dont need to resolve?

Judging from the v13 blogpost for Catalog Zone, it could be an arbitrary but unique tld like cluster.invalid

Thanks for asking. It can be any domain name that you want to use. It can be an existing primary zone too. The nodes will have their DNS server domain names set as a subdomain name of this cluster domain and their IP addresses will be managed by the cluster automatically.

maybee it would be an good idea to recommend .internal as a tld for this? its reserved by ICANN and will never be assigned publicly.
technitium.internal for example?

It depends on the end user to see if they need to use their public domain name or use an internal one. If you are running a name server to host your public domain names, in that case, using a public domain name for the cluster makes sense. Recommending one of the option is thus not correct.
