Note: There was only one remotely similar issue, but it was outdated and does not share the same main target. |

The current interface is functional and serves its purpose well, but the default high-contrast blue and white palette is quite straining. As someone who prioritizes visual ergonomics, I find the blue-light levels a bit blinding; I personally tend to lean toward amber or orange tones in my own systems to reduce eye fatigue and improve focus.
On a personal note, I have heavy astigmatism (left eye) that significantly affects my vision. Higher contrast ratios with warmer tones are much more accessible for my daily use, and I imagine others with similar visual sensitivities would benefit as well.
I understand that the primary focus here is (rightly) on the backend and DNS logic rather than frontend/UX polish. However, I believe a native dark theme and a more refined, declarative color system would significantly improve the user experience for everyone.
I’d be more than happy to contribute my time to help modernize the UI/UX. I’m well aware the review process for such a fundamental change would be lengthy, but I'm willing to put in the work to get it right.
Regardless, this is easily the most capable authoritative DNS multi-tool I’ve used—a massive step up from Pi-hole in terms of flexibility, performance, and power. I'm excited to see where the project goes and look forward to future updates! 😄
