I am currently unable to log in to my Telegram account.
The old SIM/phone number linked to my Telegram account was lost several years ago. However, I still have full access to the Gmail address associated with my Telegram account.
Last night, I was suddenly logged out of Telegram. When I tried to log in again, Telegram sent a “Verify your email for Login” verification code to my Gmail address.
I entered the latest and correct verification code received in my Gmail, but Telegram then displayed the following error:
“EMAIL_NOT_ALLOWED”
I have already updated the Telegram app, restarted my phone, and tried logging in again, but the same error continues to appear.
I kindly request your assistance in restoring access to my existing Telegram account. Since I still have full access to the email address receiving Telegram's verification emails, please let me know whether there is any way to complete the login using email verification.
I would be very grateful if you could help me regain access to my account.
