Steps to Reproduce

1. Place tree tap on second block height of kapok tree
2. Break a first height block of kapok tree
3. Crash

Cannot reproduce on my instance 0.12.8. The logs don't show any indication of a crash.

This is a crash due to ArborifirmaCraft EMI integration. I will fix it with a PR to the main mod when I finally fix it for 1.21 port.
