Standalone/detachable app?

I have a simple app that shows a Table object in Live view, and displays the results of a Pytest test-run while it's executing. I wondered if it was possible to have a standalone app that would allow me to have it act as a dashboard in-terminal while the console output from Pytest scrolls by.
