I just wanted to leave a note, that I'm mostly interested in it as a ncurses-style replacement, that has easy syntax highlighting and styling. So I'm very keyboard centric on it. I don't plan to use any of the mouse, button, or css stuff.
So I just wanted to voice this viewpoint, and that the things I've found sticky getting started with textual, were:
Making a highlighting cursor in a scroll view (I ended up just rich highlighting the active line and refreshing, I'm not sure if there's a better way. Presumably I should make some kind of highlight-selector widget or something.)
Figuring out the message passing or control so that cursor movement or selections in one panel updates other panels.
Anyway, just wanted to put in a word for that kind of functionality in Getting Started or Tutorial content. I know, I should make some myself ...

I love rich, and textual has been looking great.

Love the project.
