Why is the app slow?

I've been looking at this clone and I think it's very good but I don't know why it's slow, I don't know if it's the transitions or the compression of the images that are very large, could you help me improve the response of the UI

Hi @Juanca24691, what do you mean by "slow"?
I can see it working well and without particular jumps in the UI and also I didn't get this feedback from other users.

The project could surely be upgraded: the problem is mainly regarding the resolutions of the images which at the moment come back from the TMDB API at their maximum available resolution.
I also have some other tweaks in mind that I can apply to this project to make it work blazing faster.

All the available image sizes are retrievable from this API call.

Well, I have changed the compression of the images, although if I help the site load a bit faster, the transitions are a bit slow, for example, the 'Banner' component is a bit slow or when trying to do a search, the background transition is a bit slow
