Abilities

Charisma

  • Has a direct influence on merchant and gold prices.

Wisdom

  • Has an effect based on your experience gained. 9 and under decreases XP, while 11 and above increases.
  • It is always a good idea to throw up some Owl's Wisdom before turning in quests or killing a bunch of enemies.

Feats

Divine Wrath

  • Now lasts half a turn per charisma modifier. (TODO: Add a quest to get this functionality)

Divine Might, Divine Shield

  • Now lasts 1 turn, plus Cha mod rounds. (TODO: Add a quest to get this functionality)

Hide in Plain Sight

  • There is a 9 second cooldown.

Turn undead

  • Evil clerics and blackguards can dominate undead instead of destroying them. They can only control a total number of undead with a combined HD equal to or less than their combined cleric/blackguard level.

Brew Potion, Craft Wand, and Scribe Scroll

  • You can buy the necessary materials from Eltoora in the Cloaktower.
  • XP is no longer sacrificed in creation.

Weapon Focus/Weapon Specialization Unarmed Strikes

  • Now applies to creature attacks.

Skills

Bluff

  • Used to gain access to restricted areas.
  • Used to complete a bounty instantly. Bounties completed in this fashion only reward half the XP.

Craft Weapon

  • Used to create ammunition from ammo makers.

Persuade

  • Used in most services to get a discount.
  • Used to persuade more than one henchman or follower to join your party.
  • Always try the persuade option before paying full price - who knows, you might get a lucky roll and save yourself some coin.

Appraise

  • Has a direct influence on merchant prices.

Disable Trap

  • Disabling or recovering a trap now rewards XP, based on the difficulty of the trap.

Pick pocket

  • Most NPCs and humanoids can be pick pocketed for additional loot.
  • Loot you can get from pick pocket do not drop on death, so it may be wise to pick pocket an enemy before killing them.
  • If you have angered some townsfolk or guards by pick pocketing, exiting the area should reset your faction.
  • Players are immune to pick pocket.

Ride

  • 30% spell failure while mounted. Spell failure reduced by 10% for every 5 ranks of the Ride skill.
  • Mount speed is influenced by this skill.
