The repository contains MATLAB scripts and live scripts for ISSM experiments conducted on selected Antarctic ice shelves and Greenland glaciers. These scripts are designed as tutorials for future use and include detailed explanatory comments. For using them we have to install ISSM from its source code: https://github.com/ISSMteam/ISSM
Since some of the scripts are uploaded as MATLAB live scripts (.mlx), they are not directly visible on GitHub due to compatibility issues. However, a corresponding .pdf is provided for each file, displaying both the code and the outputs at every step. I do have all the .m scripts as well.
Important points:
- These scripts are not simply copied from the ISSM tutorial website and uploaded here. Instead, they have been thoroughly tested, carefully annotated, and adapted to improve understanding of the step-by-step workflow.
- Each script is built from scratch for learning and exploration purposes, but they are not my intellectual property. I maintain them here as a resource for future reference and to assist others. For make them working the only thing that needs to be done is to connect with relevant data folders and play.
- Some scripts include applications to my own research questions. These experiments are ongoing and may contribute to future publications. I am sincerely grateful to Dr. Mathieu Morlighem for his invaluable guidance and support in various aspects of these work.
